Last night, a joint enforcement raid was conducted by the Mining Department and Ghasipura Police against illegal transportation of minor minerals.
During the raid, two Hywa vehicles loaded with sand, found to be engaged in illegal transportation of minor minerals, were detected and detained.
Accordingly, two cases have been registered at Ghasipura Police Station.
In a similar enforcement action, Anandapur Police also detected and detained one tractor loaded with sand being transported illegally, and one case has been registered at Anandapur Police Station.
Thus, a total of three sand-loaded vehicles have been detained and three cases registered for illegal transportation of minor minerals.
